No. Most give 3 year deals 2 guaranteed and 1 non guaranteed. To avoid the poison pills. and they use portion of the mles to sign them. If we don't use the mle he will be rfa for the full mle after two years and open to be poison pilled like kj. And he can always opt to sign for a one year deal as Kj. I hate these Morrey and Hinkie treatment of second rounders.

Only thing that Morey can do now is trades. Free Angency is down to slim pickings and again their free agent plan has back fired. I don't feel that this team is in bad shape just need to add a few pieces.

The Rockets do need to make some adjustments but not much. We really don't need this insane overhaul that some are talking about. Unless we are getting an insanely amazing defender that can compensate for Harden, you do not trade Ariza at all. If there is anything this team needs to work on it is just consistency. Our starting lineup when healthy is fantastic. I wouldn't do much to it unless we could honestly improve at point to possibly move Beverly to back up pg. There are also enough expendable assets to help us improve our roster without gutting the core. Everyone loves the big names out there and that's understandable but it by no means should cost us our depth. This organization and fans should have learned that with the Barkley trade. Resigning J smith needs to be the top of our priority first and if tjones, kpap, nick johnson, capella, dmo, don't show improvement then they can get shopped. Dekker can also be a trade asset if need be. There are teams that are most likely realizing it is tanking season such as portland, the suns, and orlando who might need to get rid of their one borderline star in order to attain multiple first picks. I am sure Morey is on them as we speak. I really wish the lull's during the offseason for news was not this excruciating.
Morey are busy with 2015 Table Tennis Chanllenge. He has no time to dream together with Rockets fans.
You're right, Morey is being lazy and a ******. Now He is busy playing the table tennis, never cares about the Rockets.
just because we don't land a few targeted free agents, it doesn't mean a team is lazy in chasing them sick of some fans having a go at the franchise for missing out on some players
Wow - only for $2.1 MM/year. That's a bargain for a backup as good as Mo, IMO. Apparently Williams was considering deals for the Pellies, Spurs, and Mavericks. Either Morey feels like he has a deal close for another guard, or he REALLY doesn't want to tie up in of the MLE. Can't say I blame him, KJ > Mo but not for 2015/16.
