Harden is a lethal offensive weapon and has a sick step-back jumper. In terms of scoring, Lin doesn't compare. But in terms of defense, Lin is average at best, and still runs laps around Harden's non-existent defense. Probably the worst defender in the entire league. That is why you guys need Bev to play alongside Harden, but need a playmaking PG at the same time. No half-way decent playmaking PG will come to Houston to be a ballboy for Harden. This is why Houston will never win a championship with Harden as your superstar. Howard will leave as soon as he realizes it's impossible to win a ring here. He's wasting his time here.

After Lin fell all the way to the third string of the horrid Lakers, I thought he'd be lucky to even get a vet minimum contract. I'm very surprised a sign and trade is even being discussed. I actually wouldn't have been shocked if he had to sign overseas.
Your entitled to your opinion about harden but again why are you comparing arguably a top 5 player in the league, best shooting guard in league to Jermey Lin who was benched for Ronnie Price? It makes no sense.
Because GMs who watch basketball know that Lakers were tanking this season, and Lin was benched to ensure Lakers lose their games. Just like how Lin was benched for Bev, even though Bev has 0 offensive abilities, simply because it made more sense to have Lin playmake the 2nd unit and Harden the first unit. Believe it or not, Mchale did not like Lin (Threatened to quit his job if Lin was signed) and that was also part of the reason why he was benched.
No he's not, it's not an opinion because he's basing it on lies. when was Lin a great defender? when he was with the Rockets? when he let Corey Brewer score 50 points on him? when he was getting destroyed by lillard and mo williams? Lin fans don't have opinions, that's reserved for real people .
Lin was 3rd or 4th string, depending. He was also the best PG on the team, depending on how you count the corpse of Nash. There was other stuff going on there.
