I hope the Mavericks give up a 1st rounder to make it happen.

Sources: Dallas engaging Lakers on sign-and-trade options for free agent Jeremy Lin. I think he'll get a deal in the range of Bev or just a bit under. Everyone hates Lin here but I think Mavs on paper look like the perfect fit for his type of game. Having a C that is willing to play the pick and roll game with snipers in Dirk, Wes, and Parson.
Jeremy Lin's game is turnovers, turnovers & more turnovers. He will occasionally have a good game or 2. But no matter what environment he's in he's gonna hand the other team the ball. He has the athletic ability to be a decent pg. But his basketball IQ will always be horrendous
Unleashing an army of lintards onto the Mavs fanbase is an absolute blessing. This is a situation I will be monitoring closely.
The thing is, Lin's turnover issue has been overblown increasingly, especially since Lin's TO has been reduced every year. But keep harping that same tune while Harden gets 13 turnovers in the most important game of his career. Lin has never had 13 turnovers, even in NYK. It's not even an issue anymore.
You can't compare a MVP caliber all star who the entire other team game plans for to Jeremy Lin. Only extremely stupid people would do that.
An MVP caliber player has 13 turnovers in the most important game in his life right? And also plays no defense.
To be honest I'm kinda surprised that they're going after Lin this hard. If they sign and trade him to a bev type deal I think my head will explode
He had a lot of turnovers. It happens. We didn't lose the series because James Harden had 13 turnovers in one game. To be fair a lot of the hate towards Lin is because his crucial turnover lost us a game, and his inability to make a wide open layup cost us another one. To be fair he had a great Game 5 and probably was the key factor in that win. That being said, polarizing players have never been respected on Clutchfans and Lin is the most inconsistent and polarizing player we have ever had.
