if CLE wins the title with joe johnson, it could be particularly bad for us. in terms of attracting big name free agents and even retaining dwight, having the poorest owner in the league who's never paid lux tax could prove a deterrent
You aren't making a case for what is best "long term" by arguing what is better "right now" and what happens long term doesn't matter. He's right in that KJ is better long term even if you don't care what happens to the team in the long term.
Who would they trade? Haywood? His deal doesn't come close to Johnson's. Someone else would have to be included.
the one who will be included will be varejao. Varejao has one or two more guaranteed and then only partially guaranteed but he could retire and save the nets of capspace.
wow lol i thought the spurs' was the most poor but I don't know the owners very well. however he will get much more money with the tv deal and he will be able to pay just fine. I hope/think. Besides he has Morrey. The other teams like Cavs have made idiot decisions that Morrey will never have made.

Absolutely sucks about Stuckey. If we don't make a trade for a playmaker I don't see us sniffing the WCF again with the current team and Smoove.
