I like Collison, but he is coming off hip surgery. Rondo will undoubtedly start for them, but they want to retain Collison too.

Yep. Thats why I'm not understanding this lawson is terrible thing. He will hawk guys on defense. Not only that, he's strong in the paint with his penetration and finish.

One guy flying way under the radar....Cory Joseph. I don't know why teams aren't paying more attention to him.

Good finisher around the rim, improving shooter, pesky defender, and just 23 y/o. If we can talk the Spurs into a SnT, that would allow them to get something for his RFA status but still cut his cap hold. Don't know that they would work with us, but it's worth a call.

Lou Williams is the answer here guys. That would solidify the roster in a way that LMA wouldn't have done. Depth all the way around without the loss of anyone. Maybe a sign and trade for him so it would allow us to sign McDaniel and Smith back with the MLE. Send Jones, Kpap and Prig there. Sign Terry back with the vet min. We would be set up nice.

    Bev/Johnson/Terry
    Harden/Williams/Mcdaniel
    Ariza/Brewer/Dekker
    DMO/Smith/Harrell
    Howard/Capela

I'd run with that and be extremely confident in the West. Maybe add a PG if possible during the season.

If making your man work on defense makes such a difference, Lawson's defense numbers wouldn't be so sh#tty.

I really wouldn't be surprised if Morey is working the phones hard trying to trying to get SAS to agree to a deal.

It seems pretty obvious based on their cap situation that they can't keep him. So either they just outright renounce him, or they work with someone on a trade.

We could do something like KPap, Johnson, and the Knicks 2016 2nd to make it worth their while.

I seriously doubt SAS deals with us. Anything that improves us hurts them equally. We are right there with them in the standings. I wouldn't if I were them. It's easy enough to find another trade partner out there even or if there's isn't anyone else just renounce the guy.

2.1 APG. Lou Williams is an f'g chucker, not a playmaker.

Those two things are not exclusivve.
A chucker is a person who makes plays...
    For himself.

I see your point, but I think that is a dumb way of defining playmaker. And I don't think most ppl use that definition when using the term playmaker.
