I don't see Morey dealing Ariza unless its for Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley, or any other premier PG... BTW... Ty Lawson doesn't fall in that category for me either. Morey wouldn't have to give Ariza up for Lawson.
I think KlutchQT and myself (+ some others) had ID'd this guy as a potential fit in our frontcourt. He was a pretty good rim protector who added a 3 point shot this last off-season. I was hoping we could have snaked him from the Magic on the cheap. Anyway, good signing by the Knicks (strange to say that out loud).
I was expecting a bit more action after LA made his decision. Come on DMor. Jones has to be good enough to land a decent point guard
I would expect things to be very quiet for Houston until they resign KJ McDaniels. Which will be sometimes after the moratorium is over.
He said the other night that he was going HAM... Haven't heard from him since. The BBS has suspected that Morey had him whacked lol
His athleticism and his play on the floor last season while with the 76ers showed what type of potential the kid has. Its a pretty accepted theory that if the 2014 draft were redone today that he would be a lottery pick. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5w8wAtjgxT0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He posted once or twice the day after, but nothing major. Unless he was already dead, and Morey's assassin pretended to post as him to throw the cops off.
All emotion aside he's a moderately efficient scorer that could be had for a bargain contract. For a backup PG you can (literally) do a lot worse.
I didn't want to be the first to say it, but you're right. Except that there's no way I feel good about my PG rotation being him and Bev. One or the other, off the bench, and we already seem committed to Bev.
