you can't. a non trade clause is given only to players who have played for the same tem for ..7-8 years or so. If he's also signed for one year he can't be traded without his consent anyway.
we shall see...lakers still haven't signed noone....orlando has tons of capspace and is in asset acumulation phase..jazz hasn't done anything and too wants young talent. Philly lost on their dream pg and only has stauskas Knicks are looking for bargains to rebuild while compete. Kings cant sign anyone to save their lives and have tons of capspace and money to burn. But we will see.
I see thanks I didn't know that. Maybe a one year deal is amicable to smith. Opens his options again next year and gives him another year to show his value. He'd have to bet on himself though and be confident he doesn't get seriously injured.
Time to go use the MLE on a wing or PG and then use the non-guaranteeds and Jones to find another wing/PG.
Good. Would rather he'd went somewhere else and not kept the Spurs in contention, but overall a solid FA for us so far as the talent spreads around the West. WC first round should be a lot less brutal next year.
this might be the biggest fa signing of the spurs in forever. Wonder what the suns will do now. They have no bench and tons of capspace.
Perhaps this is where the Rockets can come in with an offer to give them some depth. It would cost them Bledsoe of course......
if you want bledsoe you have to ponny up though. Dmo/Jones Capella and Dekker. But it's a perfect opportunity to strike.
Great, so now the Spurs are going to be good for another 4 years guaranteed. I was really really really really looking forward to them being just okay for a while.

Spurs got better Warriors will still be great OKC is tough to beat when they're healthy I can't see the Rockets beating any of these teams
