Collison isn't a consistent 3 point shooter. He's a little better than a role player but not by much. People saying they'd rather him than Aldridge is ludicrous.
I'd rather not gut the team and upgrade at PG and upgrade the bench than gut the bench or even lose Ariza for a guy who's gonna be on the wrong side of thirty by the end of the season.
That's a Bill Ingram idea? I like a Bill Ingram idea? FML. Edit: I saw the tweet you were referring to so this wasn't his idea, it was yours. Well done. I love it.
If LMA goes to phoenix, we should really try to use papa and prigs to get tucker or markieff, assuming they need to salary dump. Then sign mo williams, or a scoring pg of that nature and go to war.

What I'm saying is that it's not a huge upgrade over Bev, Aldridge is a long shot, but do I think adding Collison will put us over the top? No. The Warriors, OKC & maybe the Spurs (if they get LMA) are still better teams. I understand we can't gut the team but settling for Collison is not something I'm crazy about. Maybe if we added him & another player of his caliber like David West or something it'd be more enticing.
He's a career 37% 3-pt shooter. Same as Harden. Jason Terry is a 38% career shooter and besides this past year, he shot below 38% every year since 2006-2007 (the past 7 seasons). Collison shoots the 3 just fine.
Yeah I get that but he is still young and prior to injury, had a lot of promise. And he does fill in a void. We nearly took a few of those games from GS. With healthy Bev, DMo, and potentially Collison, we would've stole that series.
Agree. Seems like the standard is sky-high if that isn't good enough. And Collison's ability to create alone makes him an upgrade over Bev, IMO. Those two would be a nice tandem.
