Honestly, I took a good look at STuckey's stats and I think I've been underrating him. He would be a good addition at guard; I would still really like a distributing PG though.

I agree, Stuckey is a combo guard. More of SG without 'the shooting'.

The Rox have not signed anyone yet right? The rest of the NBA has.

    LaMarcus Aldridge

Its seriously worse than the Melodrama and Dwightmare. TWO Lakers meetings??? Meeting with every damn team in the league.

I think the Rockets are surely working hard behind the scenes, and as soon as they get an answer from LMA, you'll see a flurry of moves they have setup. First probably being sign Brewer (probably 3 years 28 mil-ish), and then between KJ, Smith, and an outside signing (could be Stuckey), you'll see them move quick on these guys.

Its hard to see the Rockets getting everyone back, but I fully suspect Brewer to be priority 1 over someone like Stuckey. But hopefully he or someone else can hold on and wait, or will take a discount to sign for the vet min in order to rejuvenate their career and cash out next year. Signing here could be a huge opportunity for someone like Rodney to earn a great new contract next Summer.

The worse things about this big men are, they are all about 28 yr or older.

They probably give you couple of good seasons and then they decline, you are either stuck with them.

Franchises like the Spurs they did not need to win a championship to prove themselves....

they are doing it for winning sake.

Teams like us need to win big to lure stars in the future. Tough task if you ask me.

And Lakers are Lakers, they will attract FAs even if they had 5 consecutive losing seasons.

horrible player, low bbal IQ, would be a terrible pickup, not smart enough to be a point guard, not skilled enough for a scoring two-guard, overrated defender

Wow, Stuckey has completely remade his game since his heyday with the Pistons. IIRC he used to be a lightning quick guard whose game relied on a lethal first step and dribble penetration.

None of those traits can be seen in this veteran Pacer version. It looks like he's found other ways to stay relevant and effective, though, including adding a reliable midrange jump shot.

Aldridge is just stringing us along. He knows he's signing with the Spurs and that the Rockets will be his competition. He is just dragging this out as long as possible to weaken the Rockets' ability to sign other free agents. Morey is falling for it.

Yeah oh my god he's playin 8 dimensional chess and we're playing go fish what a freaking genius mastermind.

Not that Aldridge is dumb enough to orient his entire career around screwing the Rockets GM out of spite, but ask Mark Cuban how well that worked out.

His shot chart from this year.

Now imagine how it will improve when he's on a smart offensive team that's getting him open shots.

Get a PG like him please. Him and Bev would be solid.

    Stuckey, Crawford, etc.

A hybrid 1/2 that can handle the ball a bit and score....and how about some D too?

Mad Max would have been ideal for this team.

Go grab Stuckey and bring back Smoove and this is a great off season. Stuckey is so underrated. He brings something Houston really needs and that's the ability to constantly put the ball in the hoop
