That part is pure blasphemy and you know it, he went from 5 pts 3 rebs in his rookie yr. to 12 pts 7 rebs 2 yrs ago in 71 starts so it wasn't fluke. Last yr he was averaging close to 16 pts 8 rebs before his nerve injury and although his production did drop a bit he was still solid 12 pts and 6.7 rebs last yr.

Also how long did it take D-mo to finally click should we have dumped him when he was averaging a laughable 5.5 ppg in his 2nd yr., constantly getting knocked for not playing up to his size, and had a mediore .44 fg%

My point is T-jones is an an asset whether he is on the roster next season or is part of a trade package to get us a solid player.

    So in theory:

PHI gets: Jason Terry(on a deal that works cap-wise), Harrell, 2nd Round pick
POR gets: TJones, Kpap, Joey Dorsey
    HOU gets: LMA

    PatBev/Nick Johnson/ Vet min PG
    Harden/Brewer
    Ariza/Dekker
    LMA/DMO/JSMOOVE
    Howard/Capella

Or if LMA says "no" to HOU, Morey can trade TJones, KPap, filler for Lawson or another guard.

I think the Rockets are out of the running with him saying he doesn't want to be second or third fiddle. That's why even the mediocre Suns are tempting to him.

Here is where we currently stand: Still have the MLE if we want it as well.

LMA can't hold too much longer, he's been in the league 8 years. He's not getting any younger, and he hasn't gotten out of the 2nd round? He needs to realize he can't carry a good team into a championship (most players can't). He needs to team up with a ready to go core and win a ring or two! Come to the H!!!!!

I was just thinking about this very thing. Some players want to be the focal point, but that line of thinking can be a little shortsided. So, I'm wondering if that came up in the Rockets meeting with LMA? I was picturing McHale saying look, I played with Bird and Parrish. Great players sacrifice for Championships.

I've said it before and I'll say it again screw Aldridge, we need pg depth!! Collison, Lawson, Stuckey, Holliday? Harden said he needs backcourt help, Morey needs to keep his MVP candidate happy.

Get Stuckey, Match KJ, resign Smith, trade KPap, Jones for Collison, release Prigs, Dorsey

    Collison/Bev/Johnson
    Harden/Stuckey/KJ
    Ariza/Brewer/Dekker
    DMo/Smith/Harrell
    Howard/Capela

The game is just start, Morey knows wgar he should do!
If we can't get LA, Morey will get an elite pg by trade

Must say great job by Daryl to put us in this position. Didn't lose our depth, and now are flexible with what we can do considering all he variables.

Any LMA deal we make is going to cripple our ability to use the MLE because we will be capped at the Apron.
