There's several names in there that will either be in the D league or traded before the season. Bet on that.
Ok. Band back together save for josh. We have not improved. If we have minimal injuries and consider a year of chemistry maybe we sniff 58-59 wins. But in this west. Does it get us over the top? One injury to an injury prone bev and its hell all over. Not to mention didn't our franchise player say get me guard help? Morey hasn't done that as of yet. Obviously I know we are strapped $$ wise and our options are limited. But we have got to add a dead eye shooter at the very least if we don't get another creator. At this point I consider this off season as a maintain. We didn't improve. Surely we didn't hang our sole hopes on an LMA miracle and made Wishy wash Llull our point guard or bust. Morey's field of vision is too wide for me to believe that.
I understand saying we "haven't improved" but look at it this way: most injured team in the league last year. didn't have brewer and smith until late december, didn't have capela as a backup, didn't have whoever else we will get. calm down moreys got this.
Why wouldn't they? He's just a waste of a roster spot on a team that doesn't have enough of them. He has an expiring contract so I'm sure someone would be willing to take him into cap space.
Only posted it because Cyberx said Morey was tempted to deal Ariza on Draft night. Assuming Smith walks, this isn't a terrible idea..
No, he isn't. He is a nice young PF with great size and athleticism. If you think they are just going to dump, him, you don't understand how all this works.
Calvin Watkins @calvinwatkins 37s37 seconds ago Rockets believe odds of getting LaMarcus Aldridge are stronger after the Beverley and Brewer deals. Rockets can do a sign-trade for him.
