You are correct. This is in line with the team's currently structured salaries.

Kings are denid left and rightm this has never happend ever again. They get denied not by stars but by 2nd and third tier fa. Its historic. He think the kings are in such a state right now thatbthey will sign whoever they can get no matter position. They are humiliated.

Please please please make this happen, Morey. Would we still have room to sign Stuckey? I know this is a terrible view to have considering the assets we had to part with, but I'd personally take Stuckey over resigning KJ, especially with Brewer signed for the next 3 years. It's highly unlikely he would see much playing time, unless Dekker is an absolute bust.

This eliminates at chance we had at clearing max space for Aldridge, so either Morey has already negotiated a SnT if he commits or we have been notified quietly that we are out of the running.

probably not lol, but he just had a meeting with the Kings, so only makes sense that he would give the Kings a "no" before they went after Bev

Maybe the Kings are using Bev as leverage to get a cheaper deal with Rondo. He was rumored to want upwards of $10m!

He's a Birds rights player. You sign him last after Free Agency is complete.

Why? If we have Brewer's bird rights we can go over the cap to sign him.

Damn. I would have preferred letting Brewer walk, now we're locked in long term with a SF who is a <30% three point shooter with no real hope of ever improving.

If Aldridge wants us then we will be able to do it without giving up Ariza. Beverley is about to get wayyyyy overpaid by Sacramento.

Why would this signing affect that? We own Brewer's Bird rights so we simply would sign him last.

They cleared capspace for ellis and rondo. Ellis left money to sign with indy. Then matthews with a torn achilles left money. Now brewer. Rondo hasnt signed yet and the lakers have expressed interest.

Its like the kings are philly.

3 years isn't really long term, plus he is exactly the kind of player we need to come off the bench, great in transition, never quits, high motor.
