My insider sources are reporting that most of Lillard's phone call with Aldridge revolved around whether Lillard could have Aldridge's couch, TV and Xbox after he moved to Texas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
I can't wait to see how the media spins this. "The call was over Facetime, so they pretty much met face to face. Portland not out of it yet."
How would that be possible under the cap? Dallas has $33 Mil tied up, cap is going to be $69 Mil at most. They just had a deal with Matthews for $13 Mil per. That leaves them $25 Mil at most, if Matthews deal starts at $11.5 Mil. DJ and Aldridge and not going to each play for $12.5 Mil, and Dallas has nothing to sign and trade to Portland to get Aldridge that way.
