Why are you in panic mode? Because the Mavs signed a shooting guard with a bum wheel and a poor man's Dwight Howard?
If lma wants to win a ring why the **** would he chose Spurs or mavs Spurs: Timmy and Manu probably only have one year left, lma will probably end up playing center most the time(which he said he doesn't want to do), they just traded splitter and with the way Pop handles timmys minutes and games lma is going to be going up against a lot of centers. Pop is probably gonna retire with or soon after his adopted kids Duncan and Manu. Will start a rebuilding phase within the next year or 2 Mavs: who the **** would choose to go there unless Cuban is throwing that money around. Dirk probably wishes he had retired Suns: Eric Bledsoe is not good enough to be a max contract player and lead a team to a ring. Tyson chandler is declining and been to 3 teams in 3 years.... Rockets: mvp(we know it true), Dwight howard(I know lma watched playoff Dwight), 2nd seed with half our team injured, solid bench(might have to trade a couple), we will be done rebuilding by the end of next years FA. Made it to the WCF when Spurs and mavs got their ass bounced first round. Lma could play a true center This would have been my power point for lma
I thought Mekel had been overseas since before ASB? But thanks to both of you -- was hoping it was something unreasonable, and that certainly is.
No we dont we can wait it out then resign our own players while testing the trade market (lawson, collison, rubio) for our PG...relax buddy, we are good
This is literally insane. No mention of the Rockets by anybody. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">To sum up Aldridge race: Spurs, Suns are leaders.Portland trying for a Hail Mary. We'd have a better idea if every move or phone call was public knowledge. I think a lot of us are operating as if this was actually the case and letting fear of uncertainty take over.
I'm fine with Aldridge and DJ going to the Mavericks. 1. Dismantles not one but TWO playoff teams. Blazers now officially aren't a threat anymore, and Clippers are much weaker than before. CP3/Blake duo is still scary but no one around them. Now a favorable match up for the Rockets 2. Aldridge isn't headed to the Spurs and the Spurs are going to need to make quick moves to get solid depth again. They might be even worse than last year! 3. CP3/Blake/Deandre is much more scarier than Matthews/Parsons/Aldridge/DJ. Mavs will still be solid since they have a great coach and they are a well-rounded team but still doe.
I just pulled salaries from hoopshyp.e so maybe you're right. Either way those 3 must be GOOOOOD buddies to take paycuts to play together.
Sixers robbed them. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It would be a tragedy if the Kings are without a first-round pick in 2018 and they still strikeout in free agency or make no big trades.</p>— Jason Jones (@mr_jasonjones) <a href="https://twitter.com/mr_jasonjones/status/616837821479829504">July 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Kings could also call New Orleans, which might want to move on from the Jrue Holiday experiment.</p>— Jason Jones (@mr_jasonjones) <a href="https://twitter.com/mr_jasonjones/status/616838876707971072">July 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Word is that LaMarcus needs a little more time and is genuinely torn by the choices in front of him.</p>— Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) <a href="https://twitter.com/ramonashelburne/status/616838340499931136">July 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Eh, I tend to get antsy with this free agency thing. I'll admit it. Wes Matthews signing big money with the Mavs doesn't mean much to me though LOL. Hoping DeAndre joins as well so the Mavs are just "fine" and the Clippers get much worse. Gotta bring back our guys, though. Really can't take steps back at this point.
i usually like your contributed posts, but your panic mode of "dude we gotta sign someone" when its day 2 of FA is approaching mmotola26 status.
Teams aren't making moves unless they are salary dumps. Since the Rockets have no cap space they can't participate in those deals. Once the LMA/DJ dominoes fall, then other moves will happen. The offseason has barely begun, plenty of time to make adjustments.
