Yeah, what's it doing in here anyway... They said zero discussions with Beverley about contracts, but we know McHale has already called him. I imagine they told Beverley the standard stuff: we want you back, go out and get an offer sheet, etc. He's a restricted free agent so it's on him to figure out where he might want to play other than Houston.
No worries. Harden and Dwight are the core. The rest are just role players for Morey to replace. We'll probably lose out on LMA, let Corey, Beverley and Smith go for higher contract offers and replace them with Jeremy Lin, Carlo Boozer and Kendrick Perkins.
Not really surprised about the Beverley news. He can't sign anything for another 7 days, and then HOU has 3 days to match...Morey has bigger fish to possibly fry (LMA)
Rockets won't do anything until LMA decides. Two reason: what happened last year with Bosh and a S7T is the only way we can get LMA. If LMA chooses to play elsewhere, I then think Morey has a backup trade in place (Think TJones/KPap/fillers) for a PG. Then use MLE for SMoove, match PatBev and KJ. Goodbye Brewer
