With the huge jump in the cap next season I can see why teams are giving all of the average players a lot... a 4yr/50 mil deal is basically the same as a 4yr/32 mil deal under the current cap.... this makes the ariza contract look like an absolute steal... damn you're good morey

I really don't think DeAndre cares about playoffs / losses. The money will be there. As long as he gets his shine and produces around the same points / rebs he will be fine. I think the city of choice plays a huge role. Lakers = DeAngelo Russell (PG) / Cap Space / Still Lives in LA Dallas = Close to home in Houston but obviously no PG & who knows what he will do on that team.
