Rockets were never really big contender for him. Not because he doesnt like the rockets but because the rockets dont have the money for him yet. they still have to deal a lot.

But in regards to clear fit, I mean dwight doesnt even need the ball. And Harden needs ALL the help he can get. Really scoring-wise we only have Harden. Dwight is not a consistent scorer. Dwight is better when we play off of him.

No I get his not wanting to play the five, it's way more physical than the four.

My gripe is Houston is the perfect fit, he absolutey would never have to play center here.

There's lots of weird stuff about this process... but its weird that given:

    1. Morey has said all along that anything big is "unlikely" and that we would focus on our own free agents
    2. If all the media chatter is true, we're not really in the LMA sweepstakes right now.

so, if all of this is true, why are the rockets sooooo quiet right now? The rockets have to know something that is not out there

And how many of the teams [he's meeting with] do have cap space?

    Knicks-Lakers-Mavs-Blazers

Heat-Raptors-Rockets-Spurs(have since made moves to fit him)-Suns(trying to make moves) do not. Not without clearing salary or doing a sign and trade.

Because in my opinion morrey has a plan. And as soon as the hope of lma is done he will do it. A trade.

I'm pretty certain Phoenix will not land him. It makes no sense for him to leave Portland to join an inferior team. What is his angle? To be the man? He was the man in Portland.

He's at that point in his career he wants to win, and SAS or Rockets gives him a much better chance at that than going to Phoenix.

Give us the name of one Euro free agent that is flying under the radar that would be a great 3&D pickup for an NBA team.

Let's help the Suns. Would rather LMA go to PHX than SA.

Fair-well tour in Miami then go ring-chasing? Sounds good for both sides.

One year and then get a fatter deal next summer?

That is when the new money comes in, right?

Yup, this is a 2-team race: 1 San Antonio 2 Houston

The fact that it's been quiet on the Rockets front really excites me.

Maybe, I don't see Wade as the type of player that would be helped much by the new cap. I guess it keeps the Heat flexible next year though.

Terrible tragedy, mate. The news left me w/ a heavy heart. I'm just in absolute disbelief about it.

Morey should understand what we r!
We should only consider any players who want to play here
We have gotten Harden & D12, we need elite role players, u can look at GS where every players can play

I think Riley wants LMA to play with Bosh...figured it wouldn't hurt to try and sell him on the possiblities. LMA likely only gave him the meeting because it's Pat Riley and Pat was flying out there himself.
    Just out of respect.

Otherwise Riley risks pissing off Bosh, which I doubt he wants.
