Wow one year ???20? Its the best compromise. Gratz reilly. Now stop wasting our time and geting llma fat with more dinners.
100% of topic but your an auzzie so have a look at the tragic news that just happened to the adelaide crows coach, I'm shocked
The Carmelo thing is apples-and-oranges, too -- it was obvious then (and made crystal-clear in his November interview) that the issue for Melo/HOU was the market. It was all business, branding and marketing for him. He wouldn't go anywhere that wasn't NY/CHI/LA. With Aldridge, he's clearly open to Texas markets, as evidenced by the Spurs being a serious suitor. (Plus, he's from Dallas.) We didn't know for sure with Carmelo, but there certainly were red flags of exactly what his issue (market) was. With Dragic, his team made it VERY clear from the moment talks began that HOU wasn't a fit. With Aldridge, Houston seems to check all of of his stated criteria... but there's something behind-the-scenes that just doesn't seem to be clicking. What's most annoying is that not only do most of the national media not know, but they don't even seem to care to find out. Very odd.
The spurs have a center waiting. Otherwise they wouldnt have been the frontrunners. He is allergic to playing the 5. Btw did you read what cousins did to stauskas? What a b****. Seems all the stories of him being a cancer are true.
Center in waiting? Is one of Duncan or Aldridge coming off the bench? If that's the case, hell, they could throw Boris Diaw out there at center.
Not trying to be a broken record but heres where the absence of dwight to our meeting fits. Because a washed up old chandler made suns contenders to get him. And dwight smh didnt.
He was making stauskas life hell. Said to everyone that as long as he was on court with him he would never pass him the ball. Never even gave the kid a chance. Bully.
It has been less than two days. But, a lot of other players have already agreed to contracts. I'm sure Aldridge has been thinking about where he wants to play for a while now. He's now heard from all the contenders. Not sure what else anyone can say to Aldridge at this point that he hasn't already heard. He can take all the time he wants. But, he is holding everything up for a lot of other players and teams.
Suns also trying to trade out the biggest star of their young core, Eric Bledsoe. Let the media hate. I am fine with Rockets flying under radar and Morey picking teams' pockets.
I suppose the unknown here is that we don't have the capspace. The whole not playing center thing is ridiculous.
Agreed. Aldridge is pretty much the perfect 5 in the modern day NBA.... stretch the floor, good passer, and a surprisingly good rim protector.
