I'd fold my cards for this year and tank Kobe's farewell tour. Start fresh next year with cap space and young players.
Probably not. Though a max right now won't be that bad of a contract when the cap increases by 40 mil in a few years.
Shams is the best young reporter in the league. Curious to see what big outlet scoops him up -- can't be too long. If Woj ends up doing the SI/MMQB project, as rumored, I could see him hiring Shams as one of his full-time guys.
Would have to agree... You need to do something... You can't keep going 1 year deals and then hoping you sign big every summer.
Dallas sucks - who do they have? An old Dirk and a limping CP? Get out. Lakers I think are better with Russell, Clarkson, Randle, and Kobe back IMHO.
Why not just do what the 76ers are doing? They seem to be in a very good spot for the future. Especially after bending over the Kings yesterday. Staying opportunistic/flexible seems to be the smartest.
Since this is the only active thread ... can anyone think of available shooting guards we could be targeting after the LMA fallout??
