Im already a huge DC fan but the fact that they're going in a The Dark Knight Returns direction plus Ben Affleck bringing on Terrio to rewrite the script gives me high hopes. If you think about it, its like a ben affleck approved script with snyder visuals and idc what you say, that just sounds amazing lol
That is all that was needed to give me high hopes. Easily the best Batman of all time. Frank effing Miller.

I feel like I should be more excited for this. I love the Marvel movies, I love Batman. But Man of Steel was just very mediocre IMO, and it has left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole universe DC is trying to set up. Suicide squad finally has the live action Harley Quinn I've been waiting for and every new piece of info that comes out about it feels groan worthy. Really hope I'm wrong and that these movies are awesome. I'm not at all tired of the comic book adaptations, I just want to be entertained, and MOS didn't do that.
I think DC has the right idea, the problem is no one likes Zack Snyder movies. They have a nice car, good engine, sweet interior, but the tires are **** - degrades the entire experience.

downloaded a copy of Man of Steel this week where the guy went through and fixed the crazy bluish tint Snyder put in the film. The movie looks SO SO MUCH better. It still wasnt exactly what I hoped in a film but I was able to enjoy it much better than the original version
Still hate the WW casting; she's supposed to be a brickhouse Amazon, not supermodel anorexic. I do like that Affleck seems to have a lot of pull with the story/writing. A lot of people hate on him because of his looks and off-the-screen romance drama, but the guy has serious writing and directing chops and I can't say I've ever not liked his acting. Snyder visuals + Affleck depth = maybe a good movie? I hope so.
I don't get the "this WW actress isn't muscular enough" comments. You guys do realize that WW isn't human and has super powers, right? The known laws of biology don't apply to her or any other super hero because it is fiction. I get that WW should look fit and athletic and Gal Gadot does. Does Henry Cavill look like the strongest dude in the world? Nope but he is fit enough to play the Superman. Same thing applies. I wonder if there are more jealous women posting here than previously thought.
