I know that its the most active but its just hard to not lose info. In the past there have been strickly update threads. This one has updates, plus random trade talk, plus BBHollic campaigns, plus troll rampages (MMtolla or whatever his name is for ex), and NBA dish talk. Its a great offseason thread from late July to October, but right now there is just too much going on to keep up with in one thread. Just my opinion, but its my fault for trying to actually get work done yesterday and today, and still keep up with everything.
Would love to hear Codman's thoughts on Phoenix being in the mix since he has Phoenix ties. Does anyone have Codman's pager?

The fact that the Rockets have done nothing still encourages me. Look, because we can't really go the cap room route, we have to be working on a SnT....and I'm sure Morey would do everything in his power to keep Ariza. That means we want things to be hush hush. If we're considering trading away our players, SnT Beverley or Brewer, and coordinating with a 3rd team, that can't be out in the media. Not saying we're the leader or anything......only that if we are, we (fans) wouldn't know it.
But you know, if he doesn't want to play center I don't see how San Antonio would be a clear favorite. Duncan plays center but is best at PF and isn't going to be banging with physical centers. And he only has so many years left so LMA will def be playing some C in San Antonio IMO
we don't have to sign and trade. plenty of teams would be willing to take ariza for free on that contract

We cleared space out for Bosh and it netted us nothing. I think if Houston is playing it smart and learning from past mistakes, they are going to have to get a solid commit from LMA and keep the contract on hush while they work their deals. If we start seeing a rash of trades from Morey, we will know this is in the works(unless it's a transaction with Portland in which case it could be announced immediately). As long as we see no movement on the FA front, we should take comfort in the fact no decision has been made.
He means S&T to keep Ariza ....so sign and trade bev or brew, and i totally agree with fins, i think we have a real good shot of getting LMA

why would portland want bev and brew wont be going to a team the rockets want unless its them. im not concerned moray finding another ariza out their or someone somewhat as productive. always chase the star
