Irrelevant question: obviously retiring. The real question we should be asking is why Moochie Norris wasn't there.
We didn't even know we were getting a sit down at first. James Harden was already on that side of the states. Howard could have had other plans (if he wasn't already on vacation) Quit over thinking the situation.
Lakers sent Nash; why couldn't we send in Maloney? Isn't Les still cutting him checks? Missed opportunity gonna cost us.
No he wont. They will trade picks prospects and the morris if he chooses them. Dont be an idiot. You dont make someone a pathanx -malakasrt of your recruit pitch who you have to trade. and bledsoe >>>>> ariza anyway in appealing recruiting potential. but the excuses of vacations is too weak. We knew when free agency start and as usual aimed for the top star. We made one of the best presentations and prepared many hours and even days for this. And then by this logic we half assed it by not getting the star center that lma wants to go speak to him. Meanwhile the suns and the spurs made impressive moves right nlbefore meeting him and brought every single star or "star" they had. Weak. The rockets must be so irresponsible.
Some of y'all are being tools.....it's a fair question and no harm in asking, if you don't like it don't respond.
Dont buy it. Toronto and phoenix got and we had doubts we would? And by the first reports dwight would be there. L
Pop: "I'm not calling anyone at midnight. I'll be in bed. And if that's the difference, then I don't want them." If Dwight Howard joining or not joining is the difference, then I don't want him! Hey, you want to play with RoLo or BroLo or TyCho or whoever, go for it!
Pop said it as joke and as soon as free agency started he went there a day before and had parker fly from china.
no one in the media really knows the NBA that well to know his tricks of being as you put it a&&hole. for instance in the finals they would say bogut stared with 12 rebounds and not mentioning the fact he didn't score and show the highlight of him getting his only block. but yes the order right now would be 1. bogut 2a Delly 2b Mills 3. Ingles 4. Exum 5. random current euro and ex NBA players 6. simmons 7 Maker (literally no one in the media would know who he is)
houston had their meeting with LMA at around 3am melbourne time so their was no chance dwight was in on the meeting via Skype or whatever
DMO in a meeting would be like: "Sure LaMarcus, join us, I don't mind you taking away my minutes, I spent 2 out of 3 years on the bench anyway and that one amazing year I had means nothing to my team, they want someone like you"
Lol we have many aussies in the bucks forum that are left from when he was drafted and they said it in the past he come off as a prick in aussie media. maybe now that he won the perception will change. Yes lol i know. Our aussies hype up every aussie nbaer. Esp they like ingles .
every day aussies would watch NBA, because we watch any sport but the problem is the games are on between 10am-2pm start time and the only espn games we get are on weekdays so most people just don't get the chance to watch NBA
This is a fair question. Regardless of how Dwight feels about this potential move, him not being there could definitely send a message. Perhaps, LMA views his absence as him not being fully on board with it, regardless of the reason. (Their roles, fit, losing Smoove, Ariza) I know its all speculation, but Dwight has been known to sulk and doesnt play as well when frustrated or unhappy. If LMA feels Dwight is not gonna be on board with his joining the Rockets, then....it may explain why teams with Centers, who clearly arent as good at Dwight, but WERE at the meetings, are now on LMAs short list.
