I don't like admitting it but golden state was winning the whole damn thing any ways. They look so disinterested in the games and when the pressure was on the just blew you away. They may have gotten teams with injured players but reality even with the rockets cavs ect being healthy GS was just a better team. Goes down as one of the all time best season for a team got to respect it. Lets no forget we got lucky chris paul was no 100%.

There was a time ages ago where Notre Dame was the king of college football and then they went through a dry spell but fans remained optimistic because it was Notre dame football. At some point that dry spell was long enough that new recruits didn't grow up with the tradition and now they are just another college program. My point is LA's last BIG FA signing was Shaq over 20 years ago. Most players probably aren't nostalgic about events that happened when they were 5. At some point these players won't equate the Lakers to Phil, Kobe, and Shaq and the rings - they will start to think of them as a good but not great team tradition and eventually they will be remembered for the dysfunctional organization in the wake of Buss Sr's passing. Just ask the last "we are the marquee franchise" fan base in New York why Melo is the only FA To give them the time of day in 20 years....
This wont happen but if I were morey I would call Portland up and say hey if your going to blow your team up ill give you anyone ect harden and howard for lillard and any draft pick you want
Rondo, Ellis, Mathews, Boogie, and a quality PF Is not a terrible squad. Ellis and Rondo are buds and paired with Boogie they could be the grumpiest team we have seen in years. I like it.
