If I'm a rival GM, I'm not taking on a player to help you become a potential superthreat unless I really, really, really, really need that player / his contract. Or unless I'm someone like Hinkie who (1) is your friend, (2) isn't in your conference, (3) isn't trying to compete right now anyway, and (4) stockpiles assets as a matter of course. Philly will always make the most sense as a first-try destination in situations like these.

You are right but don't worry, like 15 of the teams are not very smart and most of those teams are in the East.
If you are a rival GM and you don't take a free asset given an opportunity, then you should be fired. You do what is best for your team, you don't worry about what other teams are doing because you can't control that.
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/238488/Exec-Expects-Westbrook-Harden-To-Join-Forces-With-Lakers In my boredom I came across this. Not that the source is legit but it's kinda scary to think about lol
Yeah, I basically trust Morey can move whoever he needs to. Hinkie would just always be my first call lol.
His job. I doubt Morey is even sleeping at night. You can be sure no front office in the league is busier. None ever is.
Harden isn't going anywhere. He's perfectly happy here and the Rockets will pay him quite nicely to continue being happy
Yes I am. I'm actually proud at how this thread has taken off. My brother actually sent me a text about something that Cyberx posted, and I said something to him about "my thread on Clutchfans has almost 5 million views".
