He came over late and didn't adapt to the system well. If he hadn't hurt himself, he'd have probably gotten some playing time in the playoffs for certain matchups.

I've lived in SA (4 years). It's got a nice old city vibe to it.....history and culture. Each city in Texas has its own vibe and culture which is what makes texas the best country on earth. Every city has its really great parts and it's really ugly parts. If you haven't lived there you probably only assume or perceive the latter.
