Typical lakertards. Cant admit that a washed up kobe who hasnt realised that he needs to retire is the reason for all this. Will even monroe sign there?
His figures are wrong. Also, I don't think LMA considers Monroe, Amni and Henderson an upgrade over Lopez, Batum and Matthews.
Woj on FS1 right now: Rockets made an impressive case but no one has compared to what the Spurs did this morning. Aldridge was blown away with presentation by San Antonio, all about winning, etc.

"lamarcus just couldn't handle the pressure of carrying the lakers torch. he simply isn't ready for showtime"
Well he could start at Center (Monroe) but the problem is he's not a vertical rim protector...neither is he really a good post defender...or really there are not many things he does well that is expected of a center. To defend the post, protect the paint, block shots, and rebound. His main attribute is scoring. I mean they could start both but I'd like to believe that any team that is going with Monroe is going to pair him with a big that can do all those other things that he can't. I mean I don't know how Monroe feels about playing at center either. He could think he's best there and be all in on that idea.
Woj: Last night, Lakers & Rockets met with him. He was not impressed with Lakers presentation. He wanted more focus on basketball and better answers. Too much on outside opportunities, Hollywood. Lakers were always coming from behind. Rockets made an impressive case but no one compared to the Spurs. He was "blown away". Less presentation and more of "Who we are". It was "This is what life is like with us." It resonated with Aldridge. He's meeting with the Suns. Aldridge is interested in playing with Chandler. Spurs have taken the lead, no question, but don't count the Blazers out. His respect and belief in GM Neil Olshey and they can pay him the most. The Spurs are the front-runner. ... Lakers always coming from behind Woj, huh? Pretty sure everyone said Spurs & Lakers were top two. Now they were always coming from behind, ha!!!
Ramona is just reporting what her Lakers sources are telling her. That is her job. She is in effect a mouth piece.

He's going to the Spurs. Good for Morey and company for making a compelling case to him, but we can't compete with the Spurs organization. I think we are playing the role in this chase that the Warriors played in the Dwight chase. Tempting, but ultimately going to pick the place he wanted all along.
Bradley is 36% for his career (KG, Pierce, Allen, Rondo) on fewer attempts. Beverley has been a better shooter over his career, period. The Lakers not only drafted a PG, their best player last year was a PG. They have so many point guards deserving playing time they plan to start two. But they want to overpay for another to come off the bench? No, you're wrong. Just stop.
LOLOL so basically be Kobes' whipping boy? Just look at how Pau's career has been revived after leaving the Lakers. If I was LMA, I would have ended the meeting right then and there.
