@WojYahooNBA: So far, the Spurs most impressed Aldridge, with Houston close behind Waiting on Suns word. Aldridge met with Blazers often, fond of Olshey.
The Lakers need to give up on free agency this year, play the rookies with Kobe's swan song season, and then say thanks and bye. Get another lottery pick, and then go into the big free agency next summer armed with three lottery players on cheaper contracts and tons of cap room. As for this year, maybe take Hibbert's expiring deal in a trade with the Pacers if the Pacers throw in a pick.
Regardless of who he chooses this is great news for the Rockets. Consistently being mentioned as a viable choice for star players is such an advantage.
At the very least, this is good pub for the Rockets. We don't have the recent history the Spurs do, but we are an extremely well run organization.
Yah I always knew it was Sas and HOU ..., just makes too much sense Morey is not gonna waste his time or Aldridge and his agents time if he couldn't make a deal happen. I love how people say it's not gonna happen have to make trades blah blah Like Morey hasn't proven he can and two like he would bother meeting if that was an issue
