...on the plus side, all these bigs getting insane contracts make the contracts of productive bigs on old deals look like even more of a steal. For a few million a year, TJones doesn't seem that bad.

Sub-star player (even role players, now) will be making more money than Harden the next couple of years.

Davis will be getting paid almost double what Harden makes. I know Davis is great but he isn't twice as great as Harden.

We got Harden at the right time, for the right price.

 

All this initial free agent madness and MOREY is probably sitting back like this, waiting for the moment to strike

If Aldridge wants to contend and play next to a center his decision really should be a no brainer.

I think the fact he is interested in all Texas teams shows he has a strong preference to stay in Texas to be near his kid. If that's the case, San Antonio and Houston seem like they have the most to offer LA. Phoenix as a potential landing spot opens up the possibility of Bledsoe in Houston but Morey would have to involve a 3rd team because they can't offer enough savings for Phoenix to be able to sign LA outright and a 3 way deal between the Suns/Portland/and Houston seems unlikely given all those teams see the other as a threat to their playoff hopes.

Is Phoenix with LMA+Wright+Tyson a better team than LMA+Lillard+Lopez ?
