    If DJ resigns in LA ("should be expected I'd think) I would think the Mavs would open up their checkbook for Omer. Omer & Dirk would have to be the most handsome front-line in the NBA.

    That's several years of making significantly less when they have to watch players like Brook Lopez getting 20 mil a year.

    This is SOP for the Rockets, it's just that teams seem to be even more in a hysteria to sign guys than normal.

    Be patient. Wait for the right opportunities.......they will come.

    It's almost like not doing something stupid right now is just as important actually signing a big FA.

    A lot of teams are tightening the ole proverbial noose around their own necks.

    Take it for what it's worth but my boy called me just now his dad is a ref and works the rockets training camp. He said his pops just told him that one of his friends in the rockets org just told him that we're getting a commitment from LMA today.

    We shall see.

    LOL. So are we rooting for DJ to get signed by the Mav's or not?

    Signing him makes the Mavs ok, but maybe 7th or 8th seed at best.

    The Clippers losing DJ, and having no way to get a center back.... woah... they might be a lottery team.
