Someone said it best the other day...he may be a pure psychopath, in the truest sense of the term.

I don't know how else to explain him.

In your mind this clip somehow buttresses the notion that Ted Cruz is smart?

After seeing Mr. Obama speak on several sensitive topics the past couple of weeks, it makes me sad that there is no one on either side of the 2016 race capable of his level of discourse and statesmanship.

Imagine any one of the GOP line-up dealing with a mass murder in a church.

    Banal.

GOP wouldn't be classy and statesmanlike enough to push gun control in a eulogy

I think its a blow to your credibility to dismiss political enemies as unintelligent. Especially one with all the accomplishments Cruz has on his resume including upsetting shoo-in David Dewhurst for his current job despite Dewhurst's wide name-recognition and a 3-to-1 spending advantage. If you didn't notice that Cruz is a very capable politician during that election, I don't know what to tell you. The guy is smart, hardworking, and unrelenting. He might be a good guy to have in office if not for his other character flaws.

What would any GOP candidate do as President in the same scenario? How would he address the racial divide, the senseless violence, the attack on real religion?

Give me your idea of what that might look like.

You are right. They would wonder aloud why the people didn't defend themselves.

His invocation of "classy" was worthy of a Pro Football Talk comment.

While many think many are posting as trolls, you would be surprised how many people share the same thinking. I just spent two weeks with my wife's parents and they not only watch Fox and listen to Rush religiously but also utter the same thoughts.

Trump is a democrat. He's playing only to cause trouble in Republican party.

Trump's share of the GOP votes has actually gone up since his Mexican rants. Very telling of the GOP culture.

a Republican spoke about gun rights at a Charleston eulogy?

if that happened, I stand corrected

Of course the most egregious example of this was the Wellstone memorial. Obama is not quite so ham-handed.
