it won't help the Rockets' cause to get Brewer on a reasonable contract when Carroll just robbed Toronto.

if brew turns down a big offer to stay with us he will instantly become one of my favorite Rockets. Wouldn't blame him one bit if he chased the money though. I would lol.

Toronto is also desperate. What is the market for Brewer? Who would be willing to pay him 8 figures a year?

It annoys me to no end that the ultimate nobody Alex Kennedy has the official twitter check.

I think we cant pay over 8 per anyway. And he will want many years which we will not want to give him.

Brewer can't shoot so the contracts for Green and Carroll shouldn't be analogous to what he'll get.

While I get what you are saying, it could be possible to trade for a PG on a rookie contract by giving up DMO or TJones or Capella. I really think Morey knows we need a solid PG. Another possible solution is Llull for the MLE even if we get Love.

Before everyone panics, remember nothing is final till that pen hit the paper. Even trades.

it just takes one team to make some ridiculous offer to screw Houston/Morey over....

Good news, terrible source. Wasn't he the guy that kept claiming dwight hadn't committed when every other media figured said dwight did?

Move on for plan B, the rockets do not need Love anyway.

Weird to be in this place since its usually the reverse. The Lakers historically get a top 10 player for gummi bears and a handie and Spurs can't get D Leaguers to sign.

I'm fine with giving up T-Jones in a trade. As long as we have D-Mo and Smith(plus Dekker and Harrell), Jones is expendable. Hell, we played most of last season without him anyway.

Ofc. Jones for trey burke i.e jones and dmo have only one year left and that lowers the price but they are bigs. A good target would archie goodwin or warren from phoenix imo.

Both Alex Kennedy and the ESPN talking heads were claiming that Dwight hadn't made a decision after the initial Sam Amick report.

That would literally be the absolute dumbest thing you can do.

You perform your due dilligence and you wait. There is no opportunity cost here.
