I think he was always going to the Spurs, the question was just whether they were going to be willing to do what was necessary to give him the max. Now they have. They'll also have the room MLE to shore up the roster.
i just cant agree with this. i think the rockets are set up to be a better team. but i dont think aldrich is that great of a player anyways with the shooting %'s people have been posting on here. LMA along with melo and bosh i think the rockets are dodging a lot of bullets. if the rockets can get lowry, bledsoe, or lawson. and then sign durant next year that is what you really want. pg lawson sg harden sf durant pf ??? c howard
That is how Morey operates as well. He did it to get Scola and a number of other players. It is looking like we may not keep Beverly and we may not get Llull and Brewer is likely out of our price range.... that leaves a number of holes, and doesn't even take into consideration Josh Smith. Go after clubs like the Spurs and Hawks and see who you can steal. Call Denver and see if you can swing a deal for Lawson.
[Amick] Hawks lose DeMarre Carroll to the Toronto Raptors, I'm told, on a four-year, $60-Million deal. DeMarre himself announced via Twitter.National Writer

You think harden is looking at all this money being thrown around and asking himself why he signed for so long?
Not sure why everyone is surprised by that number. The market is exploding. I think Malakas called that contract dead on.
