Great move for both teams if Aldridge is, in fact, going to SA and ATL getting insurance/leverage by obtaining Splitter if Millsap leaves.
Danny knows...

Danny Green on return 2 SA: "I'm very excited to be back, esp bc it looks like we might be getting some other pieces. Rockets just need to find a PG. Guys around here lose sight and get cracked out on name recognition. I'll bet Dmo holds his own against these big names next year, and I highly doubt Morey is that upset about it. Throwing your name in the ring is smart marketing even with a 0% chance. This team is right there, don't need to blow it up.
Danny Green knows what's up. LMA is going to San Antonio. Shouldn't be too disappointed, Morey has known all along it was unlikely we could get LMA. Now, the big thing to me is don't settle on bringing back the same team. Milsap would be a great get, Tobias Harris would be helpful, etc. We need to upgrade the roster.
Maybe the spurs are just meeting with lma right now he said yes and they did this. Pop had his friend bud on hold.
Papa is also non-guaranteed, and you need to remember that if LMA walks to the Spurs, they lose him for NOTHING. Harrell, TJones, and the Rockets 2016 1st is a solid return for a guy that can leave you high and dry. The priority remains convincing LMA to come here. He may just prefer the Spurs, and if that's the case, this is all moot.

Have the Spurs met with Aldridge yet? Any word on how it went? That would be classic if he went someplace else and San Antonio was left with their d-ck in their hand(or Duncan at center and no one at PF to be less vulgar).
2 hours back of us so almost 9. LMA must've committed to the Spurs bc we hardly heard anything about the Rockets and Lakers from those reporters last night. Good god, at the rate the FA are getting paid at, I'll be astonished if we can resign any of our UFA.
wait so the spurs are just now walking in to the meeting with LMA? trading splitter before the meeting even started. alpha as ****.
hey won't. With LMA, Green, and LMA (likely) on board, they will be good for at least the next 4 years.
They have not met yet, but the rumblings were he wanted to go to SA all along anyway. Now they have the cap room to sign him PLUS they have their core locked up. Forget the Rockets, going to San Antonio is his best chance to win.
