Someone got a shot of LMA's car parked outside the Beverly Wilshire where all these meetings go down. I wonder if he has to change the color scheme of his car when he leaves Portland. I am hoping it's just a wrap job (which it most likely is) because he has a Buggatti with the same combo.
Well, the Lakers meeting ended 3 hours ago, so it's possible that the Rockets meeting is still ongoing considering the meeting might not have started for another hour or so... Bout to pass out though, odd that all the sauces went dead quiet, that Ayre kid would have at least gotten a photo of Morey walking out either crying or grinning ear to ear if the meeting had ended already.

I really hope Aldridge is smart enough to come to a winning team rather than L.A but I wouldn't blame him for picking money though.
Endorsements. I'm not smart with this stuff but won't him being in L.A help with that, or am i just completely out of it at 4 AM?
Well that tweet doesn't say anything bad? Id, we'll see if theirs any insight on it tomorrow from either LMA's or Rox camp. Hopefully.
Did Pau earn substantially more endorsement money in LA than in Memphis? This is a pretty analogous scenario
That's what I thought at first, but im pretty sure dwight made more in orlando. I think it depends on winning.
I don't think they are the same type of player in terms of who would endorse them. I think LMA in LA is a bigger draw for endorsements vs Pau.
He earned $2-3mm a year in endorsements in LA...also a book deal with the LA times in which the proceeds went to his(?) charity. Not sure what he made in Memphis. But yeah, I stand by my statement that players are more marketable in the 2nd largest market in the nation. Definitely over Memphis.
Lakers get commercials. They will get many for lma. Thats why they got all these marketing guys in their meeting. Its definitely a big part of the pitch.
I don't think The Breakfast Defector is complaining about endorsement deals in Houston, either. Of course, it could just be the beard...
When you are an mvp caliber superstar you could play in okc or cleveland or new orleans and drown in commercials. Lma isnt that caliber of superstar.
Broussard: Aldridge - met with LA; went well. He's meeting with too many teams. He's not going to Toronto or Phoenix. It'll be Spurs or Lakers. Dallas is slim. DeAndre - 50/50. Clippers are concerned about Dallas. Kevin Love - Cleveland but won't rule out LA.
Lol does Houston have an NBA franchise? I can't tell. It's like we are wicked step child that they keep in the basement and they don't like to talk about us.
