Do you (or anyone) know the specific reason why Haywood's contract cannot be combined with another in terms of a Aldridge S&T? I remembered it could not, but couldn't remember the cap rules reasoning behind it.
If the Spurs trade for Haywood, it's simply to clear cap to sign LaMarcus outright. They'll send out guaranteed salaries like one of Splitter/Diaw and most likely Patty Mills.
Apparently you enjoy it because you can't seem to stop begging for it. "I just got back to this thread, what did I miss?" Seriously? Most of us read the thread to see what we missed. You really don't have to post every time you fart.

I also love the "Any news on Llull/Aldridge/Love/whomever, cyberx?" posts. Those are great additions to the board. It's very important we continually ask cyberx if he has updates to post in the thread dedicated to him posting updates. Otherwise, how would he know we were interested?
Who would take nick young kelly and sacre? Before free agency even starts. No assets to give to philly too.

Could be monroe and lma. Or lma and trading for cousins. Or danny green. After they max lma they currently have only around 4 mil if im not wrong. So they HAVE to get a center because lma is not signing to play c. Youngs contract isnt big but it goes for 3 more years iirc. So it kills capspace for next year and hes not exactly a very productive player
I'm actually okay with the Lakers doing this for whatever reasons I can't explain. Get Rondo too while you're at it LA.
We talk pretty regularly about a theatre project we're working on together but I haven't asked him for anything on the Rockets offseason. And if I had I couldn't share anything he told me anyway. Daryl and I are friends but I'm not an 'insider' because even when I do get info I can't share it. And this offseason I haven't even asked. I'm just enjoying keeping up with the rumors like the rest of you.
Russel / Clarkson Kobe Aldridge / Randle Jordan Not bad, but still a team that would have to battle for the playoffs, unless Russell turns out to be some super star or Kobe comes back to form.
Sorry Batman... My post lacked the appropriate emoticon. I know your policy obviously. Mmottola has all the info anyway.
Kobe is $25 million. Aldridge is $19 million. Randle and Russell are like $12 million combined, iirc. Then there are the roster holds. That roster isn't possible. It also isn't good, but that's a secondary concern.
No need to apologize. I got the joke after I posted. I thought it was funny. That's why I repped you.
