Are you saying the 2 seed in the West isn't a true contender? The team being led by the runner-up MVP and a top 3 center in the league isn't a true contender? The team with seasoned veterans galore coming off the bench isn't a true contender? The team that lost to a team that won over 70 games last season in the western conference finals in a series that could've easily been 4-1 the other way isn't a true contender? A team with 2 out of their 5 starters out for the playoffs but manage to beat a team led by Dirk, and another led by Chris Paul and Blake Griffin while being down 3-1 isn't a true contender? Get over yourself and believe in this team. Next season, injuries aside, this team is one year older. And one year better. If any team is a true contender, it's this team. If you call yourself a rockets fan, then say dumb **** like this about a top 3 team in the LEAGUE, educate yourself on basketball my friend.
My opinion is of course we value 3 pt shooters but not at the expense of defense and other skills that most 3 pt shooters don't possess. There are only a handful of high efficiency 3 point shooters that also play defense in the league and they are mostly locked up. Basically we need good 3 pt shooters that are also 2 way players like Ariza although he didn't shoot as good as the previous season. Also, we can't get one trick pony types as they need to be able to run out on the break and create their own shot on occasion. Dunleavy gives you more than just a 3 pt shooter as he is a pretty solid playmaker so those are the types the Rockets will be looking at. These players tend to be overpaid IMO. If we can find some rotation players that can consistently shoot at +35% and play some defense I will be happy but somewhat hard to come by with limited room under the current salary cap. Assuming Llull comes at less than MLE, I think he would be ideal for this team and could fit my description and would be a good complement to Beverley if we were able to retain him. Bev improved his 3 pt shot but the rest of his game seemed to regress. I really feel like he had a nagging injury early in the season but can't remember where I heard that. Could explain his play dropping off a cliff on offense and especially defense midway through the season.

Yeah, I messed up. I thought a new page would come when I posted that. Sorry folks. I don't care anymore about being mocked.
Reddick and dunleavy may not be available but you know who is. Crawford and hes almost all non guaranteed contract.
Yeah but couldn't that Haywood contract be combined with another contract in order to bring back more salary? Yeah it's a huge longshot..just spitballin here.
