    No. He did work for ESPN Dallas at one time, but Calvin lives in Houston and is a full-time, Rockets-only guy these days.

    Maybe it would be more of Houston sports fans not giving a flip what ESPN has to say than not being a big sports town.

    I`m starting to think there has to be some kind of method to the madness of not bringing any shooter.

    As far as I can remember, in the last couple of years we have been only following Dunleavy JR and this is because McHale wanted him.

    Do Morey believe volume vs efficiency is the way to go? I really think we have been early adopters in almost all the trends of the "new nba"(slash and space, versatile 4, value of the pace) but for some reason we do not seem to chase 3pt shooters with the same intensity we do with other skills.

    Wow, way to believe. We were down 2 starters and 3 wins away from the NBA finals, all while having your star center out half the year and your semi-starting PF out for the same amount. We WERE real contenders last year. That wasn't BS luck. We fought for the 2nd seed. We won our division against 4 other playoff teams, one of whom won the ring last season. We did all that with a broken roster and a sub-par coach.

    You expect us to get WORSE?
