Pap+Prigs(non guaranteed contracts)+ Brewer gets it done. Brewer might not be a bad fit in Portland anyway if Wes Matthews is gone.

That's fine. Keep trolling for the next undervalued asset(s).

Just don't see it happening in Houston. It would be nice to have a "big" who can shoot FT's though. ;)

If Harden is not going to be in the meeting, then the rockets likely think they do not much chance to get Aldridge.

The only thing that worries me more than anything is that Houston doesn't care about mid range shots and that happens to be exactly the shot Aldridge excels at. He's no dummy - he knows his playing style is at odds with the Rocket's philosophy. I would be curious to see how Morey explains that one to LA. Do you tell him we want you to be a full time stretch 4? How would that go over?

They don't care about it is because there are very few players who are elite at the mid-range. Fortunately for us, Aldridge is in that elite category.

LMA does not need Harden in the meeting. He knows what Harden brings. I am sure they have talked before now.

    Interesting chart.

I'll gladly take him making those crazy mid range jumpers with big men in his face as long as we can somehow keep Ariza...

If Morey could get LMA here without giving up Ariza. He in my mind would win GM of the Year in my books.

I bet we couldn't tell an Aldridge shot chart from an Iverson shot chart. As long as his points per attempt are a positive, I'm cool.

Yeah you could. There's a lot more green on a LMA shot chart than there would be on Iverson's.

If he wants a sure shot at a ring, it'll be either SA or HOU. If he wants to live in a cool city, it'll be LA, NY, or TOR. If he wants money, it'll be POR.

At 18.8 million, we can have this roster

    PG: Beverley
    SG: Harden / Terry
    SF: Dekker
PF: Aldridge / Motie / Scola
    C: Howard / Capela

Terry and Scola signed for vet min. Ariza, Jones, Dorsey an Johnson would need to be traded either no salary in return or non guaranteed contracts.

That's a great point. I doubt we would ask him to be a stretch 4, but he does seem capable of being one. We coveted Gasol and he operated in the high post half of the time. I'm sure we wouldn't care if Aldridge played the exact same way he does now if he joined the team. Hopefully, he wouldn't be so opposed to our team philosophy.

Rather go after Bledsoe tbh, he's been fairly healthy outside of one season. And heck if anything Beverly is also injury prone.

Only PG's IMO a better fit next to Harden besides Bledsoe are Conley and CP3.

If we somehow manage to keep Dmo in a trade for Bledsoe, it would help take pressure of Harden tremendously. Our 4th quarter offense which is the main weakness for this team will be boosted by having another ball handler in the 4th quarter that defenses have to respect.
