what Jameis said, " The player I'm most looking forward to play has to be JJ Watt. Fun matchup" What JJ Watt heard: "I'm going to crush Watt like a lobster leg. He is not even in my classa" =)
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000498389/article/what-was-jj-watts-message-to-texans-players. How can you not love Watt? Dude is awesome!
If he still brings it on the field, nobody will care. If his production drops, I'd imagine he'd be the first person to agree with you. I assume he's still working his ass off, and I'm glad he's living life and having fun, but... He is a little too overexposed and is starting to exhibit a vibe that is, I don't know if douchey is the right word but, douchey.
It is the right word. I agree no one will care if he keeps producing, but I'm not really worried about that. It just doesn't sit well with me, especially after his bout of self-righteousness at a rookie QB taking a selfie before his first start along with his reminding everyone he was spending the offseason in a remote cabin.
If everyone hates him now he should turn heel and go NWO style. JJ as an evil character would be hilarious, his smack talk would be on point.
best player in football plays for your team, does nothing but put on a good front and do the right things and somehow people still manage to b**** about and whine about something. sack up ladies.
Go full Bosworth, haircut and all. And nobody's hating on the guy. He's ****ing amazing, and there's not a player in the NFL I would rather watch. Some of his off-field shennanigans are a bit much for me, that's all.
He'll tone it down once training camp starts and it will probably be non-existent once the season starts. He's a little over-exposed right now, but not quite to the Beyonce level yet. Let him enjoy some of the fruits of his labor.
I've been saying this for a while. He's a little over-the-top and I get he's just having fun but he's not invincible. Fans and media can turn pretty quickly. Plus I'm sure some teammates secretly have a problem with his antics. I wonder what Hopkins thinks about losing TDs to Watt.
