Feliz only has two pitches. That's enough for pen where a player is fresh and doesn't need to go through lineup multiple times. He needs a changeup to really last as a starter.
I think the broadcast should give McCullers win total for the top 3 starters as he is 4 and 2 so far. They use the negative numbers on the REST of the starters, but McCullers has a positive record. So that means we need VV to step up, and find a number 5 starter pronto
Tonight's attendance, ~20,000 Pathetic... do better Houston Final game vs Yankees wasn't a sellout... utterly pathetic Great to get the win though Keep it up, playas.
I went to the Yankees game. I paid $200 for 2 seats in doggone section 133. Did the prices go up this year?
i paid $110 a seat for row 8 section 110. 3rd base side off seat geek..about opposite of you. i think the seats were jacked up for the yankees game.
Some promising results from Santana even if he is still striking out too much Gonna be interesting how they handle mccullers innings limit, because he is dealing right now.
The good thing about the innings for VV and McCullers is the Astros have Straily and Feldman as "other" options and i still think Astros will go after Kazmir. Now, the question is, after Feldman is back, who goes? Qualls???? or Hernandez???? I think Hernandez is doing a nice job out of the bullpen, forget about him in the rotation, but as a bullpen guy he is fine. Now, Qualls???? Maybe he was struggling because he was injured??? The other question is, once Marinisek is ready, who goes down? Singleton or Santana??? and Lowrie??? the other one not going down??? If Singleton out performs Tucker, then he stays no matter what??? Interesting questions and a nice problem to have, a problem we did not have for a long time
Trying hard not to get too carried away with McCullers. He's got great velocity. Great armside movement on change up even though it is only a 5-6 tick drop from the fastball. He throws the hardest curve in MLB. Command is still not there always.
astros are on dynamic pricing now. Prices change depending on the opponent, day and matchup. That's why the tickets vs the Yankees cost more than the Royals.
