Probably not much, I think we'll either use him as filler in a larger trade or try to flip him for a second round or late first round pick.
Well, if we don't get the guy, at least he'd be out of the conference. Doesn't exactly match all the "wants to go back to Texas" stuff, but if he can win in Toronto AND get the dough$$$-re-mi, why not.
Well fyi the owners kid tweeted the whiteboard depth chart during draft night and bayless wasnt there for next season. Mayo isnt clear because the letters are small. I wish morrey had a kid who teeted lol
I get the feeling that LMA will visit every single NBA team this offseason regardless if they have money or a contender.
It doesn't help that they don't really have a go-to player. I think Lamarcus would be a very good fit there, but that would be one of the most shocking free agent decisions ever.
Yeah and when lma sees the canadian taxes and the snow he will change his mind. I would give him going to toronto about 0.000001% chance.
It's strange that the Rockets have yet to be mentioned in a single rumor for Aldridge. We've speculated plenty, we'v heard from Doc Roc, and local sources have mentioned we will go after him an Love. But when it comes to the rumors like " Aldridge considering Lakers, Raptors, Spurs etc " Rockets have yet to be mentioned as someone HE'S interested in.
Espn is probably threatening star players to avoid the Rockets in free agency. They are tired of seeing teams lose to the rockets because of their shortcomings and not because of anything v the Rockets did. Keep the hate alive.
It'd be nice to hear it, but agents have played this game before. If Aldridge does want Houston, it doesn't benefit him to spell it out early in the process, since it cuts away at his S&T leverage. In other words, if POR thinks he's set on a destination that would have a difficult time clearing the cap room, they might be more likely to call his bluff. The analog in this situation might be the Warriors/Dwight in 2013. No one in the national media gave Golden State any shot at all in June because they "didn't have cap space", yet they got a surprise meeting with Dwight and ended up being Houston's biggest competition.
Yes, keep the hate alive. I wonder what ESPN would say if somehow we got LMA and filled out the roster well. There darling Dubs are in for a real test. I would like to rematch GSW in the WCF with LMA in the lineup.
Agree that why the Toronto and Lakers rumors are on the air. Teams with cap space a cheap S&T will be a dram
You mean this pic? It has 'JB' (Jerryd Bayless) on the left column in between MCW & TE, but not on the right side column.
