I guess I will add Capela to the untouchable list for a sign and trade for LMA. We need him to relieve Howard.
I heard on the radio up here in Portland that LMA's kids live near San Antonio. But they said that won't hinder him from going to Houston or Dallas. It's the general idea of returning to Texas that appeals to him..
Thanks for the info. The kid lives near San Antonio part worries me though. I am not going to cry if LMA goes to the Spurs because of his kid. Family always influences players.
My bet would be LA, but who knows really. The player movement of star talent the last five years has been so unpredictable.
If LMA goes to the Lakers, I think we have a decent shot at landing him... Otherwise, I think he's a Laker...
I guess I could see Love going to the Lakers. I do not see LMA going to the Lakers though. It will be fun to see where these two will go in the next couple of weeks.
I could see Love going to the Lakers. I will say that he will stay in Cleveland with LeBron. Isn't LeBron a free agent this year?
Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you were taking a stab at me. I really did not know where his kid lives either. I did not even know LMA was from Dallas.
He's got to be thinking twice about SA...He's got one year, maybe two, before he's back to where he was in Portland. Not good enough. Maybe that won't matter if he's in TX though....wish I knew his priorities.
LeBron is a free agent, but he's not leaving. The story of LeBron publicly leaving Cleveland to form a super team, then being a pseudo hero by returning to his home state only to leave after one season would be ten times the historical relevance of MJ retiring to be baseball.
I am pasting this from another thread. I what do you guys think about this. Not sure if this should be in another trade or not but yesterday, I met LaMarcus Aldridge at Sports Authority and jokingly said, "man, we could really use you down here in Houston! when are you gonna come play for us?!" LA says, in all seriousness, "mannnnn, i really, really want to come to Houston and play for the Rockets. I really like the direction the team is headed." I really didn't expect that response from him since he's typically a quiet guy, but wow, he would be a GREAT fit for this team at the 4. Morey, get er done!!!
There is a picture to go along with the guys post. Go to the All-Star Weekend thread. Someone replied to the original post in that thread.
