I just want a PG who isn't considered to be the worst starter at his position.

    Kyle Lowry/Jason Terry/Ish Smith
    James Harden/Rodney Stuckey/Nick Johnson
    Trevor Ariza/Sam Dekker
    Josh Smith/Luis Scola/Montrezl Harrell
    Dwight Howard/Clint Capela

    A 3 team trade between Portland/Houston/Toronto occurs

    Portland gets: DeRozan/T-Jones/K-Pap
Toronto gets: D-Mo/Meyers Leonard/C/Joey Dorsey/rights to Llull and rights to swap picks with Portland in the future.
Houston gets: Kyle Lowry, Joel Freeland (whom we trade or release)

I think we end up pulling the offer on Llull and trading his rights (I think that happens regardless of if this scenario goes down). Stuckey is signed on part of MLE. Scola is brought in on vet min. Josh stays for one year then re-signs the next year long term. Brewer leaves for an MLE signing in Cleveland.

Wow, that is just amazing. I would take that lineup and it is a solid lineup. I hope that happens.:)

I would rather have Smith in the PF spot. Smith is better as a PF than a SF. Based on your lineup I would rather try to trade DMo for a point guard like Lowry. Overall I like your lineup.

That would be great IF it were to happen. I just see Aldridge being lured by the Lakers or Spurs. I hope the Rockets can get Portland to do a sign and trade. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

PG: Llull / Terry Rozier / Nick Johnson
SG: Harden / RJ Hunter / Jason Terry
SF: Ariza / Sam Dekker / KJ McDaniels
    PF: Smoove / D-Mo / Christian Wood
C: Dwight / Clint Capela / Montrezl Harrell

TJones and Kpap (plus Dorset and future 1st ) are likely trade bait, my preference is to Celt ics because they need rim Protection and wings and they have surplus at guard (need for Rockets).

Don't see Rockets shelling out big $$ to re-sign Bev or Brew. Too bad as I love brew.

We are going to need Beverly and Dmo to play out of their minds this year to get back to the WCF. I think their growth as players will have a lot to do with how successful we are.

Dmo is better than Smith, bev is better than prigs and terry. We are better now than the team that got to the conference finals.

Capela is also older, still need to address Pg. We could upgrade Jones as well.

Just need one more piece. Sucks that Smith left because it made Jones much less expendable for an upgrade, even though I would still move him in the right deal.

Morey knows we're not there yet. He knows we need an upgrade.

I'm more concerned about the roster as a whole.

    Current players:
    1. Dwight Howard
    2. James Harden
    3. Trever Ariza
    4. DMo
    5. Patrick Beverly
    6. TJones
    7. Corey Brewer
    8. Nick Johnson - I really hope Nick can be the 8th man but I seriously doubt it.
    9. Clint Capella
    10. Marcus Thorton - likely further up the list but I haven't seen him play much

    11. Sam Deker
    12. Montrez Harrel
    13. KJ McD
    14. KPap
    15. Prigs
    16. Joey Dorsey

We gotta drop 2 players just so we can add another PG and I would really like to see Alvin Williams in there somewhere. While I think Dorsey and Prigs are at the bottom I think we need both if nothing else changes. Obviously we have a lot of wings but I think all of them are keepers?

I think the roster should be:

    3 PG - Bev, Nick J, Prigs
5 Post - DH12, DMo, Capella, TJones, Montrez,
7 Wings - Harden, Ariza, Brewer, Thorton, Dekker, KJ, KPap

This leaves Dorsey the odd man out if nothing changes and obviously PG is a problem. I liked the Dekker pick but looking at this roster, he better be a bad mofo or Jerian Grant and Tyus better suck cause we need some serious help.

One thing I have been wondering, does Morey think we even need a PG? IMO Morey believes that we only need a couple of smaller faster defenders (Nick J and Beverly) in case the other team has a Parker, CP3 or Curry type player that we need to slow down as much as we can. A solid ball handling 2 can bring the ball up, facilitate the offense and can switch on defense without creating a big mismatch every time. Often times a guy like Corey Brewer can be more effective on a guy like Curry.

Then again, Prigs got a lot of time during the playoffs, so maybe I am way off but we did play both CP3 and Curry without Bev.

Whatever the end result is, this off-season is NOT done.

Based on health & McHale's Roster choices :

    PG: Prig
    SG: Harden
    SF: Ariza/Brewer
    PF : T.Jones
    C: Doresy

    Championship ready
