The whole "he killed Bin Laden!" thing has always puzzled me. It was a continuous effort that started around 9/12 and spanned 2 Presidents. The numerous people that actually tracked him, found him and his cohorts, dismantled his network, they were working their asses off the whole time, and kudos to them and everyone that served on the ground over there as well. Totally unrelated, what did you think about Afghanistan? I've seen pictures and thought it was a strikingly beautiful, albeit primitive and rugged, place.
It probably has something to do with this dumbass. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4PGmnz5Ow-o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Confederate flags going down everywhere, Obamacare legitimized by the Supreme Court, and gay marriage now the law of the land. Boy, it's been a damn rough week for bigtexxx.
You know, this is all actually part of his half-n!gg3r secret muslim communist plot to take America away from good Christian white folk.... ...and a race-baiting, brainwashed know-nothing full-blooded n!gg3r myself couldn't be happier...
Most people who say stuff like this probably couldn't rank five other presidents, let alone name them.
Continuation of multi-hundred billion dollar deficits, possibly permanent relinquishment of congressional majority.
Obama's legacy is entirely unrelated to anything that he actually did or didn't do. He'll be remembered fondly for the same reason he won the Nobel prize.
Wasn't the progressive hopester youths thought he would be, especially in areas like reforming finance (Dodd Frank meh) and civil liberties (whistleblower prosecution, Snowden revelations). Obamacare is a big win, and I think the success will be apparent when future reforms towards improvement (rather than repeal) are more frequent. Vision in foreign policy wasn't clear, but the world isnt simply uni/bipolar anymore. Answers aren't easy and the military doesn't have infinite monies. For better or worse, I think he'll be remembered for keeping the nation civil in the aftermath of the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression. First, against a potentially volatile Occupy Movement that never managed to become mainstream despite the height of the Great Recession and constant news of financial greed and corruption. Second, against the loss of faith among minorities over the criminal justice system as a result from different and varied reports of young black men getting murdered with the perpetrators seemingly getting off unscathed. Maybe we're in an era where our heads are planted deep inside the mobile phones at the seat of our pants, but the LA Riots was a scary thing to remember and I'm glad Cleveland or Detroit didn't go in flames. A Republican president or even Hilary would've had to spend a lot more effort prevent it from escalating. The gun control situation is a lost cause for now. Enough politicians from both sides love it too deeply. I'm hopeful a future president will reexamine neoliberal economic policies Democrats have strongly embraced since Clinton as we're heading to the point where it's unsustainable for the remaining 90% to reach an equilibrium that can last beyond the short term (retirement what?). Doing more with less is a good lesson to learn, but everyone is still wasteful as hell, just more indebted by doing so. 90% of the gains since the collapse have largely gone to the 1%. Stuff to quibble over as bread lines evaporated into printing out food stamps/cards for some lower-middle class. Fix that and everyone might be a little less testy over race and guns.
LOL, Actually definitions elude you. Actual facts elude you, you say whatever you want and none of it is the truth.Your posts are guided by asinine feelings and an obvious lack of education. Yet for some reason your lack of education on any given subject does not stop you from posting your idiotic guesses on it. Most of your post sound like you decided to pick a side one day and regardless of anything defend it. Stupid though it may be, uninformed as you are, it still doesn't stop you. It's your right to post stupid things and it's my right to point out how stupid they are.
I get that you are trying to be clever and that this is the best you can do, but don't be that guy. Fools like you always believe their betters to be "stupid" and I accept that, but you aren't making yourself look better going about things they way you have been. Anyway, just friendly advice.
14,664 posts in TWO years, no life. 14,664 full of obvious lies, that are meant to misinform. 14,664 posts in two years with nothing substantive or profound, a wasted two years spent on trying to wish lies into existence. Go outside man, hug your wife, go play with your dog, be silly with the kids. Do something other than hate, maybe it will help you unstick whatever that thing is stuck up your ass.
