Pat Connaughton seems like a Morey player in the 2nd round. 4 year player, smart, gritty, fantastic shooter (43% from 3), and a very good rebounder for a wing.
My prediction is that fans will get expectations way way too high and by the end of the night, you will have a ton of folks calling for Morey's head.
You forgot his most elite attribute: ridiculous athleticism. I like him too, if only for the possibility of seeing him and Nick Johnson throws alley-oops to eachother

I'd like to see us focus on getting a versatile defender (whether it is through draft or trade) and then get a shooter (Connaughton could be a good 2nd round get). If we want to win in the west we need to have guys that can lock down Curry, Paul, and Lillard as well as some bigger wings. Granted locking those guys down is near impossible, but take them off their games. We went to the WCF w/ the squad we have and are just a few pieces away. If we could trade up and get Stanley Johnson and then get Connaughton or a big in the 2nd I would be extremely satisfied. That's just me

just heard it on radio that we're shopping tj and 18th for virtually nothing, to get space so we can chase love? is that the latest news?
That is the latest news, but Jones makes 1.6 M. I thought he was making 2M. There is no way to chase Kevin Love or LMA who is another alleged target of the Rockets with very little cap room available. I suggest you should get all your news from the Clutch BBS and stop listening to the networks, Lol!

haha, i listen to 610 during the day everyday. just a habit. during off-season, i usually dont come here as often. so you're saying the news doesnt make sense since we dont pay tj a lot. i thought his pay was like 5-6 mils, but then i realized he's only a few yrs in from his rookie yr.... on an unrelated front, also heard on radio that matt barnes is now a griz. so he's now been traded twice in a month.
