@MySportsLegion: Rockets are shopping around Terrence Jones today. In effort to clear cap space to make a run at Kevin Love or LaMarcus Aldridge. (ESPN)

He can rebound better than him, and has more range on his shot. Yeah, he is younger, but he doesn't bring anything else. LA is a solid all round PF. He will be a better fit for us. It's going to be very hard to get the job done, but if we end up with H and H/ LA while retaining Josh/ Brewer, the BBS will crash.

Jones makes only 2M. Can't clear cap space if he is traded.

    This.

IF they did that and traded Jones, what, only $9-12M? Still not enough for a major free agent.

Yeah this isn't like last year. If we trade Ariza, it's specifically to the team that will give up their star (CLE or POR)

He needs to deal with it. Morey should give him a PowerPoint illustrating how awful his efficiency is on the block. Dwight is a rich man's DeAndre Jordan, which is still a great player to have. But the ball needs to stay away from him.

Harden and LMA pick and pop would be deadly. Lma will keep defenders honest can't leave him then the defense is on an island between harden and howard.

I think Paul Millsap is the real target here. We can get him in a S&T without having to give up Ariza and then could use our MLE to go after a wing and/or point guard.

Millsap for Papanikolaou, Capela, Prigioni, 2nd round pick

The guard rotation will probably be Harden/Llull/Vazquez after Jones is traded. Then Morey will draft BPA tonight (Probably a Big) and a trade will happen to add an impact player, while also keeping cap flexibility for a run at KD in the 2016 FA pool. Vazquez allows this flexibility.

    Just my 2 cents.

Isn't Millsap an unrestricted free agent?

@trevorariza - "I love houston that is all"

ummm now wondering if this ariza tweet mean something yesterday. did morey give him heads up we may have to trade him ?

I don't know ariza is a guy that you need in playoffs to slow down other teams & make them work like iggy & kwai does "curry, lebrun, durant etc"

but during reg season if someone said we could trade ariza for love or lma people would think we were crazy! people were hating his shooting after his hot start then his stock raised again in playoffs... what would you do if you were morey ???

Guys, DM going after Love and LA is NO surprise... The guy wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't doing this...

Do I see it happening? Personally, I do not.

    But let the fun begin!!!
