I like Dekkar's overall game, but his shooting is a bit concerning. I've read about his overall mechanics/balance on shooting and it's a bit worrisome. But then again we've had to deal with Brewer's terrible shooting and poor decision making in half-court sets. I would be more than comfortable with no splash moves for a LMA/Love. We made it very far with our secondary scorer (Dmo) injured leaving us with no other consistent scoring option out of Harden. And we managed it also with a 38 year old Terry defending PG's who were toasting us up all playoffs (even JJ Barea, but he always does that). But if we are running with Beverly at the starting PG, we really need a scoring PG off the bench. Also another shooter off the bench would be a big boost. Mike Dunleavy IMO would be perfect, but who knows if that happens.
How does trading Howard for Aldridge make us better? It is a side ways move after we made it to the Conference Finals.
I never said it would make us better, If there are anything behind the rumors, I don't see how we get LMA unless we trade a big contract.
Dekker is a less attractive Parsons, which is great, because he won't turn into an ******* and will focus just on basketball. Watt will adopt him and keep him in line, either way.

i think he said they will try to trade up for miles turner, back for dekker (although almost every mock has him going higher than 18), or if they keep the pick it will not be a PG but a shooter, shooter and christmas. i believe christmas was at 32. the two shooters might be another first rounder for another shooter, but he also gave only a 10% chance of that scenario. most likely trading up or down. i'm not interested in what he means by a big trade with LAC? outside of paul, griffen, and DAJ i can't imagine what would be so big? i read somewhere the clippers were looking to trade bench guys and to acquire a pick.
First, I would just hate, hate to lose Ariza., but if it is for a star PF like LMA, then the sacrifice would be well worth it. The same does not apply to Love, an often injured player who is nothing more than a stats w****. King James ain't losing any sleep if Love walks. Hoping for great news tomorrow.
