i figure this may be the first of many things we'll hear over the next day or so...

If this is true, it doesn't sound like BPA to me...smoke screen?

Too much info floating around from too many sources.

This is how Woj became so well known. He mastered the 2010+ journalism world of twitter, etc. to become a trusted source.

I know Ken Berger is well known, but he's just saying "sources said" which means absolutely nothing...

Well it does mean sources. Those sources could be coming from Tyus' camp to sway anyone that wants Tyus to move ahead of the Rockets but that's still a legitimate source. Just not a reliable one.

This is a smokescreen...........even if we take him, it was all a smokescreen. Morey is confusing the daylights out of people.

Just on this board, people are panicking over LLull, debating Tyus vs. Wright vs. Grant, worried about Dallas offering Beverley a stupid contract, etc. Meanwhile, Morey is plotting something out of left field.

Morley will draft BPA. That'll probably be Looney, another PF.

If we pick up Llull, I really really hope we draft a PG. I want to cover multiple bases.

would be interesting if Llull did come over...and the Rockets did manage to get Tyus as the draft pick...

What does that mean for the Wolverine???

It's all about making the team better. Nothing is off the table and Tyus is no lock. But at the end of the day if no deal is made to move up or to obtain a better pg thru trade then at 18 my money is on Tyus Jones.

Tyus isn't playing. I just don't see that happening, if we even do pick him. Rockets haven't really played rookies in a long time. They just throw them out there a little and then send them to Viper land.

But Nick should probably start thinking about selling his house.

Wouldn't mind Tyus. High-IQ point guard who can run an offense.

i can see many reasons they'd like tyus jones though. he's a good spot up shooter and has proven to be a good entry passer for Jahlil Okafor at Duke. Good for DMo and the unfortunate (but hopefully occasional) DHo postups. Defense next to Harden would be major concern though
