In regard to Collison and Stauskas.... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Rockets and Kings have done business many times. <a href="https://t.co/uiMuD61mBt">https://t.co/uiMuD61mBt</a></p>— Hardwood Paroxysm (@HPbasketball) <a href="https://twitter.com/HPbasketball/status/613442383619817472">June 23, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
32nd pick plus the rights to Marko Todorovic for Perry Jones sounds good to me. Houston can give him the opportunity to show his versatility with his shooting/ scoring. He can create mismatches with his length.
He is, but he is not going to get many minutes behind Harden. He can score, but he has generally been a disappointment on the offensive end.
Even if he isn't a "point guard", he can play next to Harden pretty easily. A lineup of Harden-Lamb-Ariza would do really well on both sides of the ball.
He'd obviously be a bench player, but could play with the starters when needed. I said it as a joke anyways. Wouldn't be mad about adding him to the bench though. Scottie used him incorrectly.
If we can't swing any other trades for a point, and if we can't get Llull to come over... Papanikolaou, Dorsey and a future 2nd to the Knicks for Calderon Calderon is a total dead eye from 3, and great passer/ball handler. We could probably get him for basically nothing and he'd be a solid player to split the minutes at point with Beverley. He totally sucks on defense, is old, but that's what Beverley will be for. We could then focus on using the MLE on obtaining another valuable player or resigning Smith. We'd still have our 2 picks and Jones to package to either move up in the draft or trade for another solid player. PG: Calderon / Beverley SG: Harden / Terry / Johnson SF: Ariza / Brewer PF: Motie / Smith C: Howard / Capela / Scola + draft picks
That actually makes a ton of sense as a last resort type plan. Like you said, he's terrible defensively, but he's basically Prigioni on steroids offensively. Smart, low turnovers, can playmake, and shoots a very high percentage from 3. He's not perfect and he's overpaid, but that doesn't really matter much in this situation.
How about the bleachers report trade idea The trade Sac in Tjones, Popa, 18th pick Rockets in Rudy gay , Dcollison Hell maybe we can get stauskas too what do u think:grin:
Absolutely not. Calderons contract is for 3 more years. He is old and doesnt play any defence. He will take away future flexibillity. If the knicks want to dumb him somewhere they should be the ones giving incentive. And the only incentive they got to give is Hardway jr.

Dwight Howard, James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Donatas Motiejunas won't be traded. You guys should just stop trying to ship Dwight, Trevor and Donatas... Sign CJ Watson, sign Jet, Smith, Brewer, find scoring PG (Llull?), draft PF/C Trade TJones, Pap, #18?
K-Pap, Ariza, Jones or DMO and 18th pick for K.Love, Iman Shumpert (re-signed at 3 years/12 million) and 2 future 2nds. Cavs get a prospect player in DMO or TJones, plus a decent first round pick, a 3-d guy in Ariza who can play along side Lebron and K-pap's non guaranteed contract they can add with Haywood's contract to get another veteran. Rockets get an all-star Stretch 4 who they been needing for a long long time and they get Iman Shumpert to replace Ariza and a couple 2nd rounders for international prospects. Lull(MLE)/???/Johnson Harden/Terry Shumpert/Brewer K-Love/Smith Dwight/Capela Then maybe trade D-Mo or TJones bench depth....maybe to Orlando for Evan Fournier or some other player.
