Here's a well written recap for episode 1. http://grantland.com/hollywood-pros...son-2-episode-1-the-western-book-of-the-dead/
Farrel's character has me interested. I like the conflict in the character Vaugn's character I have no idea . . .not yet .. . . McAdams - her family drama seems a bit blah but her Cops side is ok The Bike Cop - I honestly started thinking he was the crazed killer this season - Alot of PSYCHO was coming off him Rocket River
I need to watch the episode again. Not really sure what the hell was going on but the craziness of Ferrell's character had me interested
I'm not sure about that, Taylor Kitsch is just that good looking. Freaking b*stard. He's a great actor by the way, one of the highlights of the fantastic series Friday Night Lights. I very much get a Michael Corleone vibe from him. He got his start dirty, but he's trying to make the transition to legitimacy. It is a great dynamic. Also, the care he showed for Ray (Farrell) gives the possible transition more weight.
decent pemier, hopefully the writer shows more depth in the main characters, the scene with collin farrell beating up the dad was awesome
"If you ever hurt another child again, I will come back and Spoiler butt-**** your father with your mother's headless corpse on this lawn!" Man, that was gloriously unhinged. Knuckle-duster FTW.
10 minutes is more than zero minutes... I wasn't interested in watching season 2 because I hate Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn. I decided to check it out anyway last night, and there was absolutely nothing to keep me watching past the 10 minute mark. I couldn't have been any less interested in what was going on.
For someone who spent only 10 minutes on this episode, you are spending an awful amount time crapping on it in the thread. Go be a troll elsewhere. You are two shakes from ignore.
No crap. Your opinion doesn't matter to viewers and potential viewers if you can't form a complete one.
You aren't qualified to comment if you only saw 10 minutes. That's like predicting a nba game result after 1 quarter. Nah
People keep saying this, but its not really accurate. Season 1 started slow, but it also immediately hooked me off the bat. The problem with this episode wasn't that it was too slow, it just honestly wasn't very good. None of the characters, settings, or plots were very interesting to me at all IMO. I'm going to keep watching and see if it gets better, but I'm not very impressed so far. The episode seemed like it was trying way too hard, and I'm afraid Pizzolatto is a one trick pony.
He was terrific last season, no denying that. McConaughey had the more interesting character, but both of them did such amazing jobs, both performances were arguably the best I've ever seen on TV.
